Do you need an audition CD?  Want to make a CD, but limit your expense?  For local performers we offer a recording package for $899 that includes 2 hours of recording at your location using the same superb mics and recording system we use to produce our highly praised DTR CDs, assembly editing to use the takes you select for the CD into a CD with indexes, a CD booklet (2 or 4 page) with a color cover (provided by you, all program notes, etc. provided by you electronically to us), a tray card, and black label printing on each CD.  You receive a test copy of the CD and packaging for approval, then 50 packaged CDs (booklets, tray cards, labels, shrink wrapped).  Additional charges apply for more distant recording locations, where more editing is required, or where additional design work is needed for the CD booklet, tray card, and/or CD label.  Mechanical licenses and any other copyright arrangements and payments are your responsibility.  Additional copies of your CD can be ordered as needed.

We can record your concert or performance.  Our basic on location recording package includes the recording, basic editing, and packaging, and includes 10 copies of a fully packaged CD of the performance.  Choral recordings a speciality.  Contact us for more details at sales@dtrmusic.com.  We are based in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area.

From your single CDR master we will make copies at the prices listed below. These prices include our supplying the media and providing the completed CDs on spindles (or add $0.15 per CD for jewel boxes). No labeling or other packaging is provided. Check below for information about labeling and packaging options.  We use Taiyo Yuden media, which is the finest CDR media made, and duplicate at 8X or 12X for the best quality.
Black printing of text and limited graphics on CD:  $20 set up, add $0.25 per CD.

For 2 CD sets supplied in a 2 CD jewel case the size of a single CD, the charge is double the prices above plus $0.30 per set for each case.

We can print full color track cards and 4 page booklets.  Printing includes assembly of Cd package in jewel box.  Full color 4 page booklet and tray card, packaged and shrink wrapped:  add $1.20 per CD.  Set up charges are additional and will vary depending upon time required.  Minimum $40 for booklet and tray card.

Insertion of user-supplied booklets & tray cards and use of user supplied paper CD labels: add $.50 per CD. Shrink wrapped at no additional charge (if desired).

If you supply the timings and provide an edited master tape:
From a DAT master tape: $45
From a cassette: Add $55
From open reel: Add $70 (2/4 track, dbx II, Dolby B/C, or no NR, 7.5/15/3.75 ips)
We can also transfer 78, 45, and 33 1/3 RPM records.  Add $5 per 78 or 45, $45 per 33 1/3 record.

Need digital editing? Available at $75 per hour. Estimate a minimum of twice the length of the CD, so most CDs will take at least 1-2 hours for editing, more for more involved editing.
You must sign a form stating the following:
1. You have obtained all required clearances and authorizations to copy the material being provided to DTR.
2. You are responsible for paying all royalties due to owners of rights to the material.
3. Copying the material will not violate the rights of any organization or individual.
4. DTR will not be held responsible for any claims or liabilities resulting from making copies for you.
